Latvian born Viktorija Pashuta is an up and coming fashion photographer gaining momentum and notoriety in Southern California, US. With visual cues rooted in dance and music, and fashion passion stemming from her European upbringing, her images are sensual, sultry, yet powerful. Along with stunning visual language, she sprinkles a hint of marketing magic into her work, using the knowledge she gained while studying for a Masters degree in Marketing in Oxford.
Viktorija has worked on both sides of the camera, as a photographer and as a model. It’s this duality that allows her to exploit the full talents of her subjects, resulting in dynamics images which burst with energy. Using her experience as a dancer/model allows her to lead her subjects into intriguing body language and to allow them to express themselves fully, all the while keeping her subjects comfortable and confident.
Viktorija has worked with Leslie Odom Jr (‘Red Tails, ‘SMASH, ‘CIS Miami’), America’s Best Dance Crew’ judge and singer Lil Mama, 2010 Playboy Playmate of the Year and Celebrity Apprentice star Hope Dworaczyk, Grammy nominated recording artist Kelly Price, celebrity eyewear designer Stevie Boi , star of Disney’s TV series ‘Shake it Up’ Bella Thorne, and Nickelodeon’s ‘Fresh Beat Band’ star Yvette Gonzalez-Nacer.
Additionally, she has won 1st place and the title Fashion Photographer of the Year in Global Photo Awards 2011, Bronze Award in ‘International Loupe Awards’, Silver Award in ‘Photograph of the Year 2011′ by the Better Photography Magazine, and the finalist in “The Best of Photography 2010″ by Photographer’s Forum magazine.
